- Charles Evans (Liverpool) – Charles Evans was registered as an amateur with Liverpool while also serving in the army. Everton had to pay a £21 discharge fee in order to sign him.
- Walter Ormesher (Liverpool) – Transfer completed around 13th November 1908. Originally on trial.
- Harold Uren (Liverpool) – Everton and Liverpool agreed an exchange deal where Everton received Harold Uren and £300 and Liverpool received Tommy Gracie and Billy Lacey.
- Kevin Sheedy (Liverpool) – Kevin Sheedy had agreed to join Everton from Liverpool at the end of May 1982 however the transfer was not completed until Everton were able to register him following a rigmarole between the two clubs about the fee for the player. A tribunal on 5th August 1982 ruled that Liverpool were to pay Everton £100,000.
