  • Thierno Barry’s first 2 goals for Everton have come against the same opponent (Nottingham Forest) but in different games – the first player to do so since Nikola Vlasic against Apollon Limassol in 2017, and the first to do so in league games only since Alan Ainscow against Birmingham in 1981/82.
  • Igor Thiago scored 5 goals against Everton this season – the most by an opposition player in a league season since Derek Kevan scored 6 against the Blues in 1959/60.
  • Mark Travers is the first Irish goalkeeper to play a competitive men’s match for Everton since Jim McDonagh against Wolves in May 1981, and the first Irish-born goalkeeper to do so since Jimmy O’Neill against Arsenal in February 1960.
  • Harrison Armstrong provided 2 assists in Everton’s 2-0 win over Mansfield in the League Cup in August. Aged 18 years and 220 days, he was the youngest Everton player to provide 2 assists in a game since Ross Barkley against Sheffield United in the League Cup in August 2011 (17y 262d).
  • Jack Grealish was the first Everton player to provide 2 assists in back-to-back Premier League games (against Brighton and Wolves in August).
  • Ornella Vignola’s hat-trick against Liverpool in September made her the first Everton player to score a hat-trick in the women’s Merseyside derby, and the first Everton player of any gender to score a hat-trick against Liverpool since Dixie Dean in September 1931.
  • Idrissa Gueye’s goal against Liverpool in September made him the second-oldest Everton player to score a goal in the Merseyside derby (35y 359d – behind Sam Chedgzoy, 37y 10d).
  • Everton conceded 3 headed goals in their 3-0 defeat to Tottenham in October – the first time they conceded 3 headed goals in a Premier League game since against Wimbledon in March 1996.
  • Idrissa Gueye’s goal against Fulham in November made him the first Everton player to score at each of Everton’s last 3 home grounds (Anfield, Goodison Park and Hill Dickinson Stadium). In the same game, Michael Keane became the second.
  • Everton’s 1-0 win over Manchester United in November was the first time the Blues won a game despite having a player sent off in the first half since against Tottenham in August 2006.
  • Everton’s 1-0 win over Bournemouth in December was their first ever away league win against the Cherries in what was their 9th attempt (W1 D2 L6). Only against Sunderland and Newcastle (both 12 attempts) have they waited longer for a first away league win against a single opponent.
  • Thierno Barry finally had a shot on target in the 56th minute against Bournemouth in December – his first shot on target in what was his 16th appearance in all competitions this season.
  • Nikola Milenkovic’s own goal in the 2nd minute against Nottingham Forest in December was the earliest own goal scored in Everton’s favour since Nigel Stevenson against Swansea in October 1982 (1st minute).
  • Everton beat Nottingham Forest twice in December 2025 – the first time the Blues beat the same opponent in the league twice in a calendar month since April 1982 (also against Nottingham Forest).
  • Michael Keane scored a goal and was sent off against Wolves in January – the first Everton player to do so since Sylvain Distin against Sporting Lisbon in February 2010 and the first to do so in the Premier League since Diniyar Bilyaletdinov against Aston Villa in October 2009.
  • Adam Aznou won a penalty on his Everton debut against Sunderland in the FA Cup. He was the first Everton player to win a penalty on his debut since Jô against Bolton in February 2009.
  • Everton’s 3-0 penalty shootout defeat to Sunderland was the first time in the club’s history that they failed to score a single penalty in a shootout.
  • Everton’s 1-0 win over Aston Villa in January was the first time the Blues had beaten the Villans in the Premier League since the latter’s return to the top flight in 2019.
  • Beto’s equaliser against Brighton in January was the first time an Everton player scored on their birthday since Steven Naismith against Chelsea in September 2013.
  • Bernd Leno’s own goal against Fulham in February made him only the second opposition goalkeeper to score 2 own goals for Everton (after Shay Given) – both of those own goals were winning goals (also against Arsenal in April 2021).
  • Jordan Pickford’s clean sheet in Everton’s 3-0 win over Chelsea in March was his 100th clean sheet for the Blues – the 5th Everton goalkeeper to reach the landmark.
  • Everton’s 3-3 draw against Manchester City in May was the first time the Blues conceded the opening goal, led by 2+ goals and then ended up not winning since against Liverpool in February 1928.
  • Thierno Barry’s brace against Manchester City in May was the first time an Everton substitute scored 2 goals in a game since Oumar Niasse against Bournemouth in September 2017.
